Then a stone monkey jumped out of the bushes and shouted, "I'll go in, I'll go in!" So he crouched down, straightened his body, and jumped straight into the waterfall. Then I opened my eyes and looked up. Inside was a bridge, and the river below the bridge flowed out and hung upside down, forming a waterfall. The things inside the cave look like people, with a stone inscribed with the words' Fragrant Flower and Fruit Mountain, Blessed Land, Water Curtain Cave, and Heaven '.
The stone monkey was very happy and quickly jumped out of the waterfall, saying, "That's great, that's great." The monkeys quickly surrounded him and asked, "How is it inside? How deep is the water?" The stone monkey replied, "No water, no water! It's a bridge, and the flowing water under the bridge hangs upside down, like a door curtain. The Monkey King replied, "We are not under the control of the Qilin, nor do we have to listen to the Phoenix, nor are we constrained by others. We are free and easy, but when we get old in the future, we will be under the control of the King of Hell. We will die at that time. If we want to be in this world forever, we cannot
Upon hearing this, all the monkeys covered their faces and cried. Suddenly, an old monkey said, "I've heard that there are only three types of people who are not under the control of Yan Laozi." The monkey king asked, "Which three types of people are there?" The old monkey replied, "They are the Buddha, the Immortal, and the Sacred. They can escape reincarnation, neither living nor dying, just like the mountains and rivers of heaven and earth." The monkey king asked, "Where do they live?" The old monkey replied, "They should be in some immortal mountain caves." The monkey king heard this and happily said, "Tomorrow, I will go find them and learn from them how to live forever and avoid Yan Wang." So, he asked the monkeys to make a raft together.
The next day, the Monkey King boarded the raft and rowed by himself, heading towards Nanshanbu Island in the sea. We kept heading west and finally arrived at Nanshanbuzhou. When I got ashore, I saw people fishing by the seaside. As he approached, he made funny faces at these people, scaring them to flee in all directions. He chased after him, grabbed one, stripped him of his clothes, and learned to wear them on himself. Then he swayed and entered the county and city, learning etiquette and language, searching everywhere for the Buddha, immortal, and sacred. However, it has been discovered that people are all busy seeking fame and fortune, without anyone pursuing their own bodies and lives. Only by valuing the body and life, will one not work hard for fame and fortune, nor will one suffer from inner turmoil. This is the 'noble student'. But the people he sees are all 'high profit'.
The Monkey King has been searching for eight or nine years, traveling through the capital and small counties, but he cannot find anyone who values physical and life cultivation. Seeing another sea ahead, I made a raft and floated over to Xiniuhezhou. After searching for a long time after landing, I suddenly saw a beautiful mountain and followed the mountain path up.
I saw a woodcutter ahead, free and easy, so the Monkey King approached and asked, "Why are you so happy?" The woodcutter replied, "There is a fairy living next to my house. Every time he explains things to me, I don't have any worries." The Monkey King said, "Where does the fairy live? I'm going to visit." The woodcutter replied, "Not far away, this mountain is called Lingtai Fangcun Mountain. There is a slanting moon three-star cave in the mountain, and the fairy is in the cave, called Subhuti Patriarch. Follow this small path and walk south for seven or eight miles to get there
The Monkey King was overjoyed and walked forward. As expected, he saw a cave with ten large characters on it: "Lingtai Square Inch Mountain, Three Star Cave with Slanting Moon".
The Monkey King was very happy and said, "The people here are indeed simple, and there are such mountains and caves
Suddenly, with a loud sound, the cave door opened and a fairy child walked out. He was majestic and had a strange appearance, different from ordinary people. The Monkey King jumped forward and said, "Xiantong, I am visiting to study Taoism." Xiantong smiled and said, "I know. My master is preaching on the altar and said that a practitioner has come and asked me to pick him up. It must be you." The Monkey King smiled and said, "It's me, it's me."
