[Cosmic Genesis]
The primordial Dao gives birth to primal energy (Dao begets One),
Primal energy divides into Yin and Yang (One begets Two),
Yin and Yang intertwine to create a third force (Two beget Three),
And from this force, all things in the universe arise (Three beget all beings).

[Natural Law]
All things carry Yin within and embrace Yang (dual forces coexist),
Harmony is achieved through their dynamic interaction (blending energies into balance).

[Wisdom for Living]
What people despise—"orphaned," "destitute," and "unworthy"—
Kings and lords adopt as humble titles (embodying humility to nurture virtue).
Thus, the laws of existence reveal:
Loss may bring gain (humility enriches),
Gain may conceal loss (pride invites ruin).

[Teaching and Legacy]
The wisdom passed down by sages (softness overcomes hardness),
I too uphold and proclaim:
"Those who rely on brute force meet no peaceful end" (the tyrant dies violently),
This truth is the cornerstone of my teachings (the foundational principle).

Core Philosophy:
This passage unveils the cosmic order of creation, underscores the vital harmony of Yin and Yang, and advocates humility, gentleness, and yielding as the path to enduring wisdom.
